Urgent! Help Marah and her Family survive in Gaza

Hi everyone!

My name is Alice and I’m here on behalf of my good friend Marah in Gaza. We are trying to raise funds for her and her family.

Like many of you, I have witnessed israel’s genocide on Gaza over the past two years, and while at times it can feel like we are too far away to help. It’s important to remember this is not the case and we should try to take action and help whenever we can.

Marah has asked me to create this campaign to help raise funds so her family can purchase a bag of flour. Right now in Gaza, a bag of flour costs $500 USD ($765 AUD and ¥72,440.76 Yen).

Marah is 19 years old and was in her final year of High School when Israel’s genocide on Gaza began. She is supposed to be in her second year of university, but she has not been able to graduate from high school since the war broke out.

Marah has asked me to share that she was very committed to her studies and wants to continue studying and to secure her future.

While the campaign is focused on helping her family purchase food and supplies for now, we’re hoping that in future we can generate funds to help her pursue her education again.

Aside from being an excellent student, Marah loves flowers. When Marah first messaged me on Instagram, I was very touched by all the photos of flowers she had posted. They are beautiful and resilient, just like her. It would mean the world to me and Marah if you could help in any way that you can.
